Murano Glass Heart Earrings

These beautiful drop earrings are made from pure copper ear-wires, 3x10mm pure copper tubes and 3mm pure copper round beads, and feature genuine, 10mm Murano glass rubino gold foil hearts.

Murano glass beads are crafted by hand on the Island of Murano, 3km north of Venice.

Heated glass is hand shaped then rolled in pure gold foil while still soft until entirely coated.

Coloured glass, in this case ‘rubino’ or ruby, is then added and shaped around the gold foil centre to form the heart bead.

Copper is the traditional gift for the seventh wedding anniversary.

The earrings measure approximately 3.5cm (1.33 inches), excluding the wires.
