Yellow Sea glass silver Earrings

Yellow drop earrings which are made from two pieces of English yellow seaglass.

The pieces of glass have been wrapped with sterling silver wire to secure them in safely place, and hang from sterling silver ear wires.

Seaglass – also known as ‘mermaid treasure’ – started off as waste from glass factories who at the end of each day, would dump their waste product into the sea.  After years of tumbling in the waves, the pieces of glass wash up on the shore having been smoothed and polished by the sand and the ocean.

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY:
To keep your silver jewellery looking like new, you should store it in dry place like an air tight container or zip lock bag to help prevent tarnishing.  For routine care, a quick wash in soapy water can help to keep a piece shiny. Taking your jewellery off before you go to bed and before showering will also ensure your piece stays looking fresh for as long as possible.
