Silver Sea glass earrings

Unique earrings handmade from genuine frosted pieces of white sea glass, which have been wrapped with sterling silver wire, and hung securely from sterling silver ear hooks.

These pieces of sea glass were found on Seaham beach in the North East of England.

Sea glass started off as waste from glass factories who, at the end of each day, would dump their waste pieces of glass into the sea.  After years of tumbling in the waves, the pieces of glass wash up on the beach having been polished and smoothed by the sand and the ocean – like mermaid treasure!

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY:
To keep your silver jewellery looking like new, you should store it in dry place like an air tight container or zip lock bag to help prevent tarnishing.  For routine care, a quick wash in soapy water can help to keep a piece shiny. Taking your jewellery off before you go to bed and before showering will also ensure your piece stays looking fresh for as long as possible.
