Origami Menko Earrings

Based on traditional menko envelopes these earrings are made using handmade Japanese paper with a navy blue and green pattern

They are hand folded and finished with gold filled findings. They are then coated with a non toxic sealant for durability and water resistance

As the earrings are made from paper they are very lightweight, making them very comfortable to wear

The earrings are presented in a box ready for gifting.

The length of the square measures approximately 3 cm

Caring for your earrings

To preserve the life of your earrings, it is recommended to:

– avoid getting the earrings wet, they are water resistant not waterproof

– avoid lotions, perfumes and other chemicals from coming into contact with the earrings

– your earrings will not tarnish as they are ‘gold filled’, a solid layer of 14k gold permanently bonded to a base metal; should they become dirty a gentle wipe with a soft cloth will restore their shine
