Mosaic Turquoise Magnesite Earrings

These striking earrings feature 18x12mm oval mosaic turquoise beads.

Mosaic turquoise is made from magnesite, a beautiful stone with dark webs and veins that are dyed to resemble highly patterned turquoise, then stabilised with resin to add strength and lustre.

I have topped the focal beads with 3mm and 4mm Swarovski crystal bicones, in the colour ‘jet AB2’, that have a deep turquoise-and-gold sparkle.

The double aurora borealis coating gives a mirror-like finish.

I have added small, pure copper round beads to add shine, and bring out the mosaic markings.

The beads are threaded onto pure copper pins and hung from pure copper ear-wires.

The earrings measure approximately 3.5cm (1.5inches), excluding the wires.

They will arrive carefully wrapped in tissue and presented in a small gift bag.
