My name is Lisa and I am the founder and owner of The Jolly Pad. I am married to a wonderful man (Adam) and Mummy to 4 gorgeous, strong, independent girls and a Lolli (grandmother) to a beautiful, spirited little girl. We have lived in England, France and Spain and have had some wonderful adventures living and working abroad.
When we returned to England, I trained to be a teacher, qualifying at the age of 49. I absolutely love teaching and adore exploring different arts and crafts. I set up The Jolly Pad in 2019 and have developed different styles through different mediums. It has been difficult at times to keep going as well as balancing family and a full time (well, more than full time) job but we don’t get anywhere unless we try…and keep at it do we? I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey into the world of art through giving tutorials and face-to-face workshops as well as selling online and at craft markets.
